The Houston Business Journal reports that Halliburton has been awarded a $140 million contract by Total for work on a project offshore Angola. The Houston oilfield services company will continue providing fluid services in support of the French oil and gas company’s deepwater drilling and completion activities. Halliburton will provide services on an average of three deepwater rigs for up to three years.
