High Purity PFA Prevents Contamination

The improved high purity PFA offers a lower extractable content, reduces the chance of impurities such as ionic contamination and other trace metals from being extracted from the tube and into the process media. In microelectronics and applications, the prevention of contamination ensures the wafer process is not compromised and acceptable production yields are being met. Other improvements include increased chemical resistance over standard PFA tubing, low levels of particle generation, superior smoothness of the tube and in convoluted tubing, an increased flex life, according to the manufacturer. The high purity PFA operates in temperatures up to 500 degrees F and as low as -200 degrees C. Sizes ranges from .010- to 4-inch O.D. Available as smoothbore or convoluted tube. Smoothbore tubing is available in lengths up to 1,000 feet continuous. Sizes range from .010-inch to 1-1/2-inch OD for Smoothbore and 4-inch O.D. for convoluted. Smoothbore tubing is available in lengths up to 1,000 feet continuous.
