Injured worker charged with aggravated arson

LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — An employee at Diamond Products in LaGrange, Ohio, who was injured in a chemical explosion has been charged with aggravated arson, wkyc.com reported.

Robert Shaw, 50, was attempting to make exploding targets for firearm target practice when the chemical concoction exploded in his office.

Shaw was treated for burns at a local hospital and was later arrested. He is expected to be officially charged today.

According to its website, Diamond Products is one of the largest manufacturers of diamond drilling tools in the U.S.
