Iris valves control dry bulk solids

Designed for controlling the flow of dry bulk solids, iris diaphragm valves (IDVs) include types for bulk bag discharge stations and pneumatic or electric-actuated types for automated applications. The IDVs are said to be able to close around large lumps or foreign bodies while still controlling the flow of smaller particles.
