Lightweight and ergonomic thermocouple calibrator

August 25, 2008

Meriam’s M130 measures temperature from t/c input or precisely simulates t/c output for temperature transmitter calibrations. With accuracy of ±0.025% of Reading ± 10 µV, this handheld unit is perfect for use in the field, plant or lab. Eight common thermocouple types are supported with the ability to measure temperature ranges from -217°C to 1820°C depending on t/c type. mV measurement is also supported from -15mV to +80.00 mV. Simulations can be run using °C, °F, °R, K or mV set points entered from the convenient, multi-speed keypad system. Simulation features include set point generation, three programmable auto step routines and three programmable auto ramp routines. The M130’s Record Mode can store up to 240 pressure measurements using manual mode, while the automatic mode stores the current value every 5 seconds for up to 20 minutes. The lightweight and ergonomic M130 is 6”H x 3”W x 1”D and weighs only 12 ounces. The back lit display provides easy viewing in low light environments. Power is from 3 AA alkaline batteries for over 300 hours of continuous use.
