Massive fire engulfs Pakistani factory
KARACHI, Pakistan — Firefighters spent more than 30 hours controlling a fire that erupted in the chemical warehouse of a plastic bag-manufacturing factory in Karachi, Pakistan, late Saturday night, The Express Tribune reported.
The fire engulfed large portions of the five-story building, causing parts to collapse.
An adjoining warehouse containing rice also caught fire, but it was quickly extinguished.
