Piping system features electrofusion joining technology

Polypropylene double containment piping system features electrofusion technology for easy installation. Having both inner and outer pipes constructed from polypropylene resin, the new system offers exceptional chemical and corrosion resistance. The piping system is fused with other products from the manufacturer, and is designed to fuse up to four joints at one time, making installation faster and easier. Unlike other piping systems, this system allows installers to test the primary pipe prior to assembling the containment pipe, eliminating costly joint repairs after testing. Constructed from polypropylene, the new system offers a combination of high chemical resistance, toughness and strength at elevated temperatures and can handle corrosive fluids up to 212°F intermittently. Designed for optimal safety and efficiency, the containment pipe will safely contain any chemical leak that may occur from the primary pipe. Available in a wide range of fittings including, wye’s, tee’s, and reducers to accommodate any structural design requirements. It is ideally suited for chemical processing facilities, school and hospital labs, pharmaceutical waste systems, semi-conductor manufacturing, power plants, pulp and paper mills, and other acid waste industrial applications. The system will not pit, rust, scale, corrode or be affected by electrolysis. Available in sizes from 1-1/2" x 4” to 8” x 12", all Fuseal-Squared pipe conforms to ASTM F-1412 standard specifications for polyolefin pipe and fittings for corrosive waste drainage systems, while the fittings conform to ASTM D-3311 standard specification for drain, waste, and vent plastic fittings pattern.
