The new portable electronic scale operates by waving hands over sensors to speed weighing, portioning and counting, and prevent cross contamination. The scale features two touch-free infrared sensors which can be set up independently to provide up to 36 combinations of functions without touching the keys. Designed to speed operation and prevent cross contamination, it provides ≤1 second stabilization and is suitable for counting, percent weighing, checkweighing, display hold and accumulation/totalization applications. The unit has a 400-percent overload rating and is available in 3.2 x 0.0002 lb. to 32 x 002 lb. capacities. Standard features include a 0.78-inch, 6-digit, 7-segment LCD with a white LED backlit display; sealed keyboard; 9 x 6.9-inch stainless steel pan; and an internal rechargeable battery with automatic shut-off that operates up to 100 hours on a full charge.
