Thermoplastic air release valve
December 28, 2004
New thermoplastic air release valve is designed to expel unwanted air from a pipeline at system start-up. It is also ideal for venting air from a tank during filling. It features a unique self-guided poppet that provides more reliable sealing than traditional ball-type designs. The valve is normally open to allow air to vent. It closes as liquid rises and seals bubble-tight under liquid pressure of 10 psi. Air release valve is offered in PVC and Corzan. Metal-free design makes it ideal for corrosive and ultrapure liquids. Series ARV. For more information, contact Plast-O-Matic Valves, Inc., at 973-256-3000 or go to www.plastomatic.com/arv.html.
