Turkey processing plant to create up to 600 jobs in Indiana

VINCENNES, Ind. — Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and Farbest Foods executives broke ground Tuesday on a new turkey processing facility that could create up to 600 jobs in Vincennes, Ind., Indiana Public Media reported.

Farbest Foods, which already operates two facilities in the state, is investing nearly $70 million in the new processing plant.

The company plans to begin hiring next year.
