Ultrasonic level transmitter for challenging applications
December 9, 2003
Ultrasonic level transmitters is capable of continuously measuring the level of challenging liquid and solid applications over extremely long spans of 197'' at a high degree of accuracy (0.25 percent at full span). Electronic circuitry that provides instant variable gain and power control of the transmitted signal accounts for the precise level measurement of difficult materials like foams, corrosive liquids, solids, grains and powders. Transmitter usually consists of one or two transducers and a single transmitter. Transducer is fitted to the top of the silo or tank and faced down towards the material being measured.
