Vibrating Fork Level Switch for Safety Instrumented Systems

December 7, 2010

The capability of the manufacturer''s series of vibrating short fork level switches has been expanded with the introduction of the newest level switch for (Safety Integrity Level) SIL 2 safety instrumented systems. This new version features built-in fault monitoring / self-checking diagnostics, and is ideal for high and low level alarms. The level switch has the required Failure Modes, Effects and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA) report. As a result, companies in the oil and gas production, refining, petrochemical, chemical and power industries can benefit from the almost maintenance-free vibration fork technology, while ensuring compliance with associated IEC industry standards.
