Worker Killed At BP California Refinery

Reuters reports, a worker was killed in an accident at a rail car loading facility on Wednesday at BP Plc''s Los Angeles-area refinery in Carson, Calif., the company said in a statement. Refinery production was not affected by the accident, BP said. The refinery processes 265,000 barrel per day (bpd). The accident occurred in the rail car loading facility at about 8 a.m. local time, the company said. The worker''s name was not released pending notification of the next of kin, BP said.
