With its field-proven X-ray sensing system and sophisticated image analysis software, Thermo Electron’s Goring Kerr PROx provides actionable information that can track and improve the manufacturing process. The system not only operates over a wide temperature range and is IP65 wash-down compliant, but also meets the strictest of safety requirements from around the world. Its field-proven X-ray imaging system and flexible detection filters optimize the system’s detection sensitivity and reduce the number of product rejects on the assembly line. The product is specifically designed for easy operation by the factory operator and has a large, color touch-screen employing an intuitive icon-based graphical interface making product set-up and selection a simpler task. New products can be set-up by a technician in a matter of minutes with clear graphical feedback along the way.
