The mixing eductor is a revolutionary liquid/powder mixing device that will intimately entrain and speed-blend a powder with a liquid without clumps, "fisheyes" or microgels, according to the manufacturer. This is accomplished by converting pump pressure into a high velocity stream, which generates a low pressure in the mixing chamber. The eductor''s uniqueness capitalizes on the Venturi principle to generate a near-perfect vacuum to quickly dose a powder into a liquid stream. The interaction between the primary (motive) liquid and the secondary powder additive(s) provides interfacial stretching and folding which results in a completely hydrated, fully dispersed and uniform mixture.
