LAGOS, Nigeria — Royal Dutch Shell PLC on Saturday discovered a pipeline running through Nigeria’s southern delta was leaking crude oil, The Associated Press reported.
Shell sent a team to stop the leak and is now assessing the damage and cleaning up the spill.
The pipeline was part of its Okordia-Rumuekpe line that runs through Bayelsa state, the article stated.
