Packaging products maker Sealed Air Corp., which makes Bubble Wrap, is buying The Dow Chemical Co.''s Ethafoam foam packaging line, the Associated Press reports. The sale is likely to affect Dow manufacturing facilities in Hanging Rock, Ohio, and Drusenheim, France. The facilities were expected to supply the products to Sealed Air for 18 months, after which Sealed Air would start making the products at its own facilities. Besides Ethafoam, Sealed Air also gained rights to Down''s Envision, Synergy, Equifoam and Lamdex trademarks.
