Feeder is specifically designed to feed or discharge wet, sticky materials such as filter cakes, wet crystals and powders, waxes, sludges and pastes. It also functions as a sealing-type airlock. Its design solves the problems caused by sticky feeds clogging conventional feeders. Even dry, free-flowing material can become sticky because of fumes and vapors coming from reactors, kilns or the process itself. Clogging can require extra shutdowns for cleaning and can cause variations in product consistency. Unit features rotating wiper blades that are synchronized to wipe pockets on the rotor to completely empty each at its discharge point on every revolution. Rotoscoop®.
