Shut-Off Valves Allow for Easy Adjustment, Replacement in Field

Line of shut-off valves include Cam-Centric^® Plug Valves, American-BFV^® Butterfly Valves and Ener•G^® AWWA Resilient Seated Ball Valves. Cam-Centric^® Plug Valves include features such as a fully encapsulated plug, welded nickel seat; Grit Guard™ Seals to protect the valve shaft, bearings and seals; V-Type packing and Packing Overload Protection (POP^™) Shims to protect packing from being overloaded during adjustment. The American-BFV^® Butterfly Valve features a ductile iron disc for added strength allowing the disc to have a smaller cross section and providing improved headloss characteristics. The Ener•G^® Ball Valve features the advantages of a standard fusion bonded epoxy interior and exterior coating and when fully open provides 100 percent flow area equal to the pipe size representing a significant savings in pumping costs. Both the American-BFV^® Butterfly and Ener•G^® Ball Valve feature the unique Tri-Loc^™ Seat Retention System assuring seat integrity and allowing for easy adjustment or replacement in the field.
