EGHAM, England — British electrical engineering firm Spectris PLC has signed a $475 million agreement to buy privately held Omega Engineering, according to a press release.
Omega provides a broad range of process
measurement and control instrumentation to customers in industrial and
academic markets, selling directly to end users in these sectors via catalog, telephone and Internet.
