THERESA, Wis. — One worker died and another was hospitalized following a chemical spill Monday afternoon at a manufacturing plant in Dodge County, Wis., WISN Milwaukee reported.
The men were discovered unconscious at about 3:45 p.m. Monday at Vivid Image Inc. in Theresa, Wis.
A Hazmat team was brought in to deal with what authorities called a “glue-type” material that accidently mixed with something else, creating deadly fumes.
"These individuals seemed to be working with this substance in an enclosed area," said Dodge County Sheriff Todd Nehls.
