NEW SOUTH WALES, Australia — Police were called to Muswellbrook Industrial Estate Sunday afternoon following a fatal workplace accident involving a forklift, ABC Newcastle NSW reported.
According to witnesses, a 42-year-old worker was standing in front of a forklift when a metal hopper fell off the vehicle and crushed him.
A co-worker attempted CPR, but was unable to revive the victim.
Officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be prepared for the coroner, the article stated.
