SHREVEPORT, La. — Technology development company WSP Chemical & Technology has purchased North Shreveport Industrial Park’s unused Kemira chemical plant and plans to hire about 60 local workers, ktbs.com reported.
WSP plans to have the plant up and running within 90 days.
The plant will produce synthetic water-soluble polymers used in the gas industry.
