Cleveland Mixer is proud to boast one of the longest traditions of industrial mixing engineering and manufacturing in America, today.
Since 1939, we’ve been producing equipment and solving mixing problems for thousands of customers in every area of the market.
75 Years of Experience
Cleveland Mixer consists of two brands. Eastern Mixer was formed in 1939 in Norwalk, CT. Cleveland Mixer was founded in 1940 in Streetsboro, Ohio. Eastern Mixer focused traditionally on smaller, portable mixers and agitators, while Cleveland Mixer’s product line consists of a broad spectrum of agitators, mixers, blenders and ribbon blenders.
In 1981, Eastern Mixer was purchased by EMI, Inc., and moved to Clinton, CT. In 1984, Cleveland Mixer was purchased and moved from New Hampshire to the Clinton facility.
Cleveland Mixer has a reputation for durability and strength. It is not uncommon for us to replace a unit originally installed 50 years ago – still running!
