Jeco Plastic Products CEO discusses export sales at U.S. Conference of Mayors
Jeco Plastic Products was featured at the recent U.S. Conference of Mayors in Indianapolis. During Jeco CEO Craig Carson’s speech, Carson gave examples of how his export business has grown as a direct result of the bank programs. In May, Jeco received the U.S. Department of Commerce Export E award, recognizing recent export sales growth.
Lightweight Containers to open new KeyKeg production line in Germany
Lightweight Containers will open a new production plant in Grossbreitenbach, Germany this year. The fully automated production line has a capacity of 400 KeyKeg Slimlines per hour. The line can produce all the members of the KeyKeg Slimline family of kegs. Production partner PET-Verpackungen Deutschland will manage the day-to-day production.

Bruce Rodewald joins EPLAN Americas as new president & CEO
EPLAN Software & Services appointed Bruce Rodewald as president and CEO of EPLAN Americas. He succeeds the retiring Raymond Gaynor, who had led the Americas division since 2011.
Rodewald brings to EPLAN more than 24 years in industrial business development and corporate sales leadership.

Camfil appoints director of reseller/rep sales, reorganizes internal sales support group
Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) appointed John Poehler as director of reseller/rep sales. In the newly created post, Poehler will oversee the company’s regional sales managers and extensive network of dust, mist and fume collection equipment distributors and representatives in the U.S. and Canada. Poehler will also manage a reorganized internal group designed to support the company’s growing customer and market base.
Matt Caulfield, an 8-year veteran of Camfil APC, was named director of mining/pharma. Caulfield will oversee the dedicated sales teams that currently serve two of Camfil APC’s key focus markets, mining and pharmaceutical dust collection. In addition, Kevin Tucker will serve as automotive market manager, a new post created in response to growing demand from the automotive industry for Camfil APC’s line of Handte mist collectors for machining processes.

ABB appointed veteran communications professional Chris Shigas as director of media relations, United States. Shigas will be based in ABB’s North American Headquarters in Cary, North Carolina.

Honeywell UOP CEO Rebecca Liebert recognized as a ‘Woman Worth Watching’
Honeywell UOP’s president and CEO Rebecca Liebert was named by Profiles in Diversity Journal its 15th annual Women Worth Watching Awards.
Liebert became president and CEO in April, and previously served as vice president and general manager of UOP’s Catalysts, Adsorbents and Specialties business. Prior to that, she was vice president and general manager of the company’s Gas Processing and Hydrogen business, where she was highly successful.

MRS and TMS announce 2016-2017 Congressional Science & Engineering Fellow
The Materials Research Society (MRS) and The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) selected Aaron Dunn of the Georgia Institute of Technology as the 2016-2017 MRS/TMS Congressional Science and Engineering Fellow.
