Level Measurement in Starch Production

The steeping process in starch production is among the most challenging level measurement environments.

The steeping process in starch production is among the most challenging level measurement environments. The measured product is a solid during filling, creating a lot of dust, then in the steeping phase it’s wetted, creating heavy condensation, which produces a crusty coating on the tank interior and radar antenna. The OPTIWAVE 6300 drop antenna is uniquely impervious to this effect and can measure continuously without the need for antenna purging.
