| Matcon specialize in providing solutions for handling and processing powders, granules, tablets and other materials in Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs). We have the capability to provide total IBC solutions, from single component level through to complete turnkey powder handling solutions; from concept development, testing and design through to manufacture, installation and training.
Matcon was founded in 1980 in the UK, offering Discharger Valves for difficult materials in storage silos. In 1985 we developed the Matcon Cone Valve IBC system and took the IBC market by storm. In 1989 we took over Bulk Unit Load Systems (BULS) and quickly established a strong pharmaceutical business.
Increasing capability in controls, automation and project management expanded our ability to provide complete turnkey powder handling solutions. Today, with more than 25 years of experience of providing Bulk Solids Handling Solutions, we are continuing to expand our offices, representation and customer base around the world.

The clearance-seated butterfly valves are primarily intended for use in handling dry plastic pellets. The valve is available in ANSI Class 150 lugged body, sizes 4- to 12-inch.
