WITT Gas Controls launches LE5 gas filter for industrial gas systems

The LE5 gas filter combines high flow capacity and low pressure drop to support stable gas supply operations.

WITT Gas Controls has introduced the 2-inch LE5 gas filter for industrial and medical gas applications in North America, expanding its portfolio of gas safety, control, and analysis components.

The LE5 gas filter is designed to protect gas supply systems from particles and condensate while supporting process stability and reducing maintenance requirements. The company said the filter is suited for demanding environments, including industrial gas supply, metal processing, and other high-purity gas applications.

The filter is compatible with technical gases including oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide. It is designed to meet maximum oxygen velocity limits established by EIGA 13/20, AIGA 021/20, and CGA G-4.4 standards for oxygen systems.

According to WITT Gas Controls, the LE5 provides high flow capacity, low pressure drop, and 15-micron nominal filtration. The filter can handle flow rates of up to 760 Nm³/h of oxygen at 30 bar with a pressure drop of 50 mbar.

The LE5 also features a replaceable bronze filter element that can be serviced without removing the filter from the installation. An integrated condensate drain helps remove condensate and protect downstream equipment. The filter is available in brass and stainless-steel versions for a range of industrial and medical gas supply applications.
