GEMÜ is a global market leader when it comes to solutions for sterile applications. In addition to GEMÜ and its 27 subsidiaries, the GEMÜ Group is made up of the identify and manage solutions provider, inevvo solutions, the Schloß-Hotel in Ingelfingen and the Ingelfinger Fass winery. The promotional merchandise agency VIP Präsent and GFM Solutions, a service provider for contactless hand disinfection devices, are also part of GEMÜ.

As a family-owned enterprise, GEMÜ is now being led by the second generation of the family – Managing Partner Gert Müller and his cousin Stephan Müller.
The two Managing Directors, Gert Müller and Stephan Müller, prioritize innovation and have future-oriented plans for GEMÜ. As part of these plans, the company founded a start-up business with inevvo solutions in October 2018 that makes use of the opportunities offered by digitization and further develops and markets Industry 4.0 solutions such as the RFID-based CONEXO system.
That's not all – when it comes to their products, awards such as the "ACHEMA Innovation Award" speak to GEMÜ's strength as an innovator and implementer of novel training concepts, one of which uses their own virtual reality training program, developed in-house.
The Group currently employs over 1900 members of staff worldwide, over 1100 of whom are in Germany. They have six manufacturing locations: Alongside their manufacturing sites in Germany, GEMÜ manufactures its products in Switzerland, France, China, Brazil and the USA. Their worldwide marketing is carried out across 27 subsidiaries, coordinated from Germany. Thanks to a large network of commercial partners, GEMÜ is now active in over 50 countries on all continents.
The GEMÜ Group is continuously growing and invests regularly in the company's future. In 2013, for instance, a state-of-the-art Production and Logistics Centre was commissioned in Kupferzell, Germany, which combines the global flow of goods and guarantees fast supply to European customers.
Under the guidance of the Managing Partner Gert Müller, GEMÜ has undergone a restructuring process in 2017. Newly organized by business unit, the company has laid important foundations for even closer proximity to our customers and further growth.
The manufacturing and administration building established in Shanghai, China, in 2015 and the Surface Technology Centre (OTZ) in the Hohenlohe business park in Germany also demonstrate the company's commitment to investing in the future.
Plans for the new administration building in Kupferzell (Germany) are already under way. This new building will be a modern office, creating additional synergies, providing employees with an attractive working environment and meeting the company's needs both now and in the future.
