Pilot-scale blender is specifically designed for mixing smaller quantities of powder, making it suitable for proof-of-concept testing in recipe development or for producing high-value, low-volume powder batches. Blender setup includes a safety guard, pilot-scale IBCs and an optional high-shear intensifier for safe, smooth and efficient material discharge. Intensifier enhances the blender's mixing capability by incorporating high shear into the blend and extending the range of recipe development possibilities. An optional MicroNIR spectrometer provides valuable information on blend homogeneity. Pilot scale IBCs are available in 100- and 200-liter volumes, equipped with casters for easy movement, and fitted with a Matcon manual cone valve in the outlet to ensure mass-flow discharge.
