1 | Multiflux GMS Mixer
Multiflux GMS mixers feature an optional, extractable design that enables the complete mixing and drive units to be quickly removed for full, unobstructed access to the internals for cleaning and inspection. Developed to ease and speed cleaning in sanitary batch processes, the proprietary Extractable Cantilevered Design (ECD) sets the drive shaft and mixing rotors on rails for smooth, safe extraction from the mixing chamber and 360-degree access to the interior. Ideal for mixing delicate, high-value ingredients and other materials that require a pristine level of hygiene, the mixers are designed to meet FDA and GMP requirements for sanitary processing.
2 | L Series 50L Horizontal Ribbon Mixer
The Kemutec Gardner L Series 50L Horizontal Ribbon Mixer is perfect for pilot research, process development and small-scale production. They are designed for the rapid and efficient blending of powders and granular materials and feature a full-length top cover opening for maximum access. The interrupted spiral ribbon agitator removes easily for cleaning and hygiene. They also can be fitted with an extensive range of Mucon outlet valves for controlled flow from the mixer. The L Series Mixers are available in a variety of sizes from 35L to 400L and constructed in either carbon steel or stainless steel.
3 | QUEST HSM III High Shear Mixer
The QUEST HSM III High Shear Mixer incorporates 12-bar pressure shock resistance and ACG’s signature X-ONE COMMAND process control system. Designed to facilitate compliance with cGMP standards, the QUEST HSM III features interchangeable process bowls of 15, 30 and 65 liters, providing a wide range of batch sizes and torque measurement instrumentation for process end point determination. The QUEST HSM III also features a multi-blade chopper and Z-shaped impeller for better granules and shorter process times, and the machine’s unique sealing concept eliminates the need for compressed air. The unit is both ergonomic and safe.
4 | PowerMix Planetary Disperser
Answering the need for high shear in formulations too viscous for conventional dual-shaft mixers, the ROSS PowerMix is a hybrid planetary mixer equipped with the patented High Viscosity “HV” Stirrer Blade providing axial product movement and radial exposure to a High Speed Disperse Blade, which in turn breaks down agglomerates and promotes rapid solids wet-out. Both the stirrer blade and saw-tooth disperser revolve around the batch while rotating on individual axes at independent speeds. The PowerMix is available across a full range of working capacities from 1 quart to 1,000 gallons.
