STAMFORD, Conn., August 26, 2025 (ITT release) — ITT Inc. will feature pumps from Goulds Pumps’ and Bornemann’s expansive flow portfolios and the game-changing VIDAR motor at the 2025 Turbomachinery & Pump Symposia (TPS) on September 16-18 in Houston. Visitors to booth 1611 will experience firsthand how ITT’s highly engineered technology can deliver greater reliability, productivity and efficiency in fluid process systems.

ITT will feature two recently launched products that set new standards of performance in their categories: the Goulds Pumps 3430 Large Double Suction Pump line and VIDAR industrial motor, along with other models of industrial pumps and an interactive demonstration of a centrifugal pump operation.

“Through interactive displays and real-world applications, TPS attendees will see how ITT’s technological and technical innovations in industrial pumps and motors can elevate and enhance manufacturing processes and results,” said Steven Shanley, ITT Southwest Regional Sales Manager. “With an expansive product portfolio and deep engineering expertise, ITT delivers holistic solutions that maximize performance of flow systems across oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, water, power generation, and other industrial markets.”

Launched earlier this year, the 3430 product line features a series of enhancements that improve serviceability, accessibility, installation versatility, and lifespan. Available in 19 sizes, the 3430 delivers higher efficiency and lower Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) than previously available. With a unified, more compact design that replaces three legacy models, the 3430 streamlines maintenance, reduces inventory, and maximizes uptime.

In addition, the 3430 line’s new i-Frame 360° bearing housing provides easy alignment and maximum strength, features generous seal area access openings for simple replacement of modern split cartridge seals without removal of the bearing housings, and includes integrally casted cooling fins for better heat dissipation.

VIDAR, which officially launched to the market in June, is a new type of compact motor that embeds variable-speed intelligence directly into the motor to achieve new levels of performance, reliability, and simplicity in industrial applications involving pumps, fans, and fluid process systems. VIDAR lowers energy usage and CO2 emissions, reduces costs, increases equipment lifespan, and enhances process controls, resulting in decreased utility bills, maintenance expenses, and downtime.

VIDAR’s benefits stem from its patented AC-Link technology, which replaces conventional AC-to-DC-to-AC Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) technology with a streamlined AC-to-AC approach. By removing the DC stage, bulky capacitors are eliminated, shrinking the VFD by 60%, and enabling the motor and VFD to be combined into a single, compact solution that fits seamlessly into the existing footprint of a conventional motor.

Other featured pumps include the Goulds VICR PumpGoulds 3600i API 610 (BB3) Pump, and Bornemann SLH Series. The VICR Pump incorporates an innovative vertical design and is built for efficiency to deliver higher head at low flows with a longer product life cycle while taking up less space on the factory floor. With precision cast impellers and a patented bearing oil filtration feature, the 3600i maximizes hydraulic efficiency and reliability for petrochemical processing and petroleum refining, production and distribution.

The SLH Series includes rotary position displacement pumps that use two screws to convert the product along the screw axis, constantly moving product from suction to discharge. Adjustable operating conditions and optimized sealing technology allow for more flexibility in operation and maintain hygienic standards.

Visitors to ITT’s booth can participate in a live, interactive demonstration of a centrifugal pump operation featuring customized clear acrylic versions of the Goulds 3196 i-FRAME Process Centrifugal Pump. The 3196 pump is a high-performance chemical processing pump utilized by the chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper, primary metals, food and beverage and general industries to reduce repair costs and extend service life.

Subject matter expertise from ITT is also on the agenda at TPS 2025. Scott Shults, P.E., Solutions Engineer with Goulds PRO Services will present an educational course, “Know Your System Curves! All About Pump Curves, System Curves, Cavitation, and Reliability,” from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 15 in room 361A. The program focuses on hydraulics and troubleshooting techniques, drawing heavily on field experience and featuring examples of how to solve real-life end user reliability problems.
