Fristam Pumps has announced the release of the PL Powder Dissolver, a new inline mixing system designed to improve powder incorporation in hygienic manufacturing environments. Engineered for industries including food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing, the PL system delivers rapid, clump-free dispersion while enhancing safety and reducing waste.

The PL Powder Dissolver achieves powder intake rates of up to 200 pounds per minute and handles viscosities up to 500 centipoise. Its compact and mobile design allows for easy integration into existing processing lines, while an ergonomic working height reduces operator strain.

The new system supports a range of powders, including sugar, milk powders, proteins, salts, and citric acid, ensuring complete dissolution and consistent blending. Applications include beverage syrups, flavored milks, nutritional supplements, and liquid food bases.

Available options include Clean-in-Place compatibility, automated powder feeds, customizable hopper sizes, and skid-mounted plug-and-play configurations. On-site trials are offered to help manufacturers assess performance in their own facilities.

According to Dan Osiedacz, Mixing & Blending Product Manager at Fristam Pumps USA, “Powder incorporation has long been a bottleneck in hygienic production, and the PL provides a faster, safer, and more consistent solution that reduces costs while improving product quality.”

The PL Powder Dissolver is available through authorized Fristam distributors. For more information or to request a trial, visit Fristam's website.
