METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection Group will present a broad range of food and beverage inspection technologies at EATS 2025, formerly known as Process Expo. The event will take place October 28–30 at McCormick Place in Chicago, where the company will exhibit in booth 2500.

The showcase will include new and updated systems designed to help processors and packers improve product quality, maintain compliance, and increase production efficiency. A new bulk flow x-ray inspection system will be featured, capable of detecting contaminants such as glass, stone, bone, plastics, and rubber early in production. By identifying risks upstream, the system helps reduce product waste and protect downstream equipment.

Also on display will be the M34R metal detector, which incorporates dual-simultaneous frequency technology to enhance sensitivity by up to 25 percent while reducing false rejects. The system is mounted on a conveyor engineered for meat and protein applications, with stainless steel construction and washdown-ready features for greater sanitation and durability.

METTLER TOLEDO will also highlight the CX combination checkweigher and x-ray system, offering processors flexible configurations that can integrate checkweighing, vision inspection, metal detection, and x-ray technology in a single solution.

Vision capabilities will be demonstrated through the V31 system, which inspects bakery products for consistency and verifies labels. The X32 x-ray system, suited for small- to medium-sized packaged products, will be shown alongside the X52 dual-energy x-ray system, which will be demonstrated inspecting fresh pet food on the show’s live production line.

All METTLER TOLEDO inspection equipment is supported by the company’s ProdX data management software. The platform enables remote monitoring and data collection to help manufacturers streamline production, maintain compliance, and strengthen product safety programs.
