IFS, a global leader in Industrial AI software, has announced the latest expansion of its IFS Loops agentic platform with the launch of 10 new Digital Workers equipped with 50 agentic skills. The company also revealed plans to double that capability to 100 skills by December 2025, extending its AI-driven automation across key industrial sectors including manufacturing, service, energy and utilities, telecoms, aerospace and defense, and construction.

The IFS Loops platform provides prebuilt Digital Workers designed to manage complex, high-volume operational workflows autonomously. These AI agents handle tasks such as field dispatch, supplier coordination, customer order management, and inventory replenishment across enterprise systems with real-time intelligence, audit-ready compliance, and domain-specific understanding.

Unlike traditional automation or robotic process automation systems, IFS Digital Workers are context-aware and decision-capable, allowing them to adapt and optimize performance dynamically. Operating within IFS Cloud or integrated with existing enterprise systems, they deliver immediate return on investment and tangible operational improvements.
Somya Kapoor, CEO of IFS Loops, said the technology addresses the growing need for faster, more flexible operations. “The pace of operational change is faster than ever, with complexity growing faster than human teams or legacy systems can handle…IFS Loops gives companies a digital workforce they can deploy today, orchestrating complex industrial workflows reliably, securely, and contextually, allowing skilled teams to focus on higher-value tasks,” Kapoor said.

IFS also announced plans to launch IFS Loops Studio in the first quarter of 2026, enabling customers to build and customize their own Digital Workers as operational needs evolve. Additionally, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can now embed agentic AI capabilities into their own solutions, expanding the platform’s reach across industrial ecosystems.

According to Mickey North Rizza, Group Vice President of Enterprise Software at IDC, “Companies that deploy agentic AI today are positioning themselves ahead of competitors, turning Digital Workers into a differentiator that not only drives productivity but also enhances employee experience and operational agility.”
