PSG integrates Cryogenic Machinery Corp. into Blackmer portfolio as CRYO-MACH Series
PSG, an operating company of Dover Corporation, announced that Cryogenic Machinery Corp. will transition from a standalone brand to a dedicated product line under the Blackmer portfolio. The line will be known as the CRYO-MACH Series.
According to PSG, the strategic move strengthens both brands by combining Cryo-Mach’s expertise in cryogenic centrifugal pumps with Blackmer’s established leadership in fluid-handling technologies. The alignment is intended to expand PSG’s ability to serve customers across cryogenic and industrial gas applications.
Chris Walsh, Vice President of Marketing and Engineering at PSG, said that integrating Cryo-Mach into Blackmer builds on each brand’s engineering heritage. He noted that the CRYO-MACH Series will maintain Cryo-Mach’s standards of precision and quality while benefiting from Blackmer’s trusted leadership in pump design and service.
Founded in 1964, Cryo-Mach is recognized globally for its cryogenic pumps, mechanical seals, and accessories used in oxygen, argon, and nitrogen applications. Blackmer, established in 1903, manufactures sliding vane, internal gear, centrifugal, and regenerative turbine pumps, as well as reciprocating gas compressors.
Brian Battle, Vice President of PSG’s Industrial Business Unit, said the transition reflects PSG’s commitment to offering comprehensive solutions across both cryogenic and non-cryogenic markets. He added that aligning Cryo-Mach’s performance legacy with Blackmer’s market expertise positions PSG to deliver greater value for liquified gas customers.
The CRYO-MACH Series will continue to be manufactured at the existing facility in North Hollywood, California. All products and marketing materials will now carry the Blackmer brand, with no changes to product specifications, service capabilities, or customer support.
