Kansas State University Olathe has opened registration for its 2026 lineup of advanced manufacturing and bulk solids courses. The university announced a series of short programs designed to provide hands-on training and practical skills for professionals working in powder and bulk solids operations.

According to the university, the 2026 schedule includes courses covering manufacturing leadership, bulk solids handling, pneumatic conveying, Lean Six Sigma, automation and controls, material flow, and dust collection. Each course is structured to deliver applied instruction for engineers, operations managers, and plant personnel seeking to strengthen technical capabilities or support workforce development initiatives.

The 2026 offerings begin in February with Leadership Strategies in Manufacturing, followed by Processing and Handling of Bulk Solids Materials and Basics of Pneumatic Conveying. Additional sessions continue throughout the year, including Automation and Process Controls in August, Reliable Flow from Hoppers in September, Fundamentals of Dust Collection in October, and Advanced Pneumatic Conveying in December.

Kansas State University Olathe noted that organizations with remaining 2025 professional development funds may benefit from securing seats early, as past courses have filled quickly.
