K-State Olathe offering skills-focused manufacturing leadership cohort in February 2026
A new manufacturing leadership training series offered by K-State Olathe is launching in February 2026 and will focus on building practical management skills for emerging and current production-floor leaders.
The Strategies in Manufacturing series begins February 6 and brings together a limited cohort of manufacturing professionals for weekly, in-person sessions designed to address real workplace challenges. The program emphasizes leadership skills that directly affect productivity, safety, workforce retention, and operational excellence.
Participants will meet on four consecutive Fridays in February, with sessions running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each session is structured around hands-on practice, peer discussion, and practical tools that managers can apply immediately in their facilities. A make-up session is scheduled for March 6 in case of any cancellations.
According to the program organizers, the cohort-based format is intended to strengthen communication and collaboration while creating an industry-focused peer network.
Participants are encouraged to share challenges, discuss solutions, and return to work each week with actionable strategies.
The program continues with a 75-minute virtual follow-up session during the week of March 23. Each instructor will host a virtual facilitation session, allowing participants to select the option that best aligns with their goals and development needs.
Enrollment is limited to support meaningful interaction and peer learning. Manufacturing professionals interested in learning more about the program or registration can contact [email protected] for additional details.
