January 15, 2026 (Duravant release) — Duravant and its operating companies Foodmate, Henneken, Key Technology, Marelec, Marlen, POSS and Pattyn are exhibiting a broad portfolio of advanced processing and packaging solutions for poultry, meat and fish at IPPE, taking place Jan. 27–29 in Atlanta.

The equipment on display in booth C43169 includes integrated lines and standalone systems spanning the entire protein processing operation. With best-in-class customer support and lifecycle services, Duravant delivers solutions that help ensure food safety, protect product quality, reduce labor and improve production efficiencies.

“Protein processors are navigating a rapidly changing landscape driven by labor constraints, shifting consumption patterns and the need for greater operational insight,” said David Wilson, Duravant Group President – Protein Processing. “Customers are prioritizing higher levels of automation, real time data access and technologies that improve yield, quality and sustainability, while reducing maintenance and operational complexity. Duravant brings together innovative technologies, deep application expertise and a strong service commitment to help processors respond to these challenges. By delivering integrated solutions across processing and packaging from a single, trusted partner, we enable customers to operate more efficiently, adapt to market changes and make confident investment decisions that support long term performance.”

At IPPE, Duravant is showcasing both white meat and dark meat deboning equipment from Foodmate. For white meat applications, the MAX L front half/breast deboner features automatic recipe selection based on contour measurement technology to optimize yield across a wide range of bird sizes. For dark meat, Foodmate’s OPTiX Switch whole leg deboner demonstrates high-speed, X-Ray-guided deboning with the flexibility to process thighs and drumsticks within the same system.

Inspection, grading and product handling solutions are also on exhibit, with Key Technology’s alignment conveyor feeding product from the OPTiX Switch into Marelec’s MXV Slim X-Ray inspection system. By detecting small bone fragments and foreign material, these integrated systems support accurate inspection while maintaining gentle handling and consistent product flow.

Portioning and grading solutions are featured with a Marelec dual lane portion cutter that delivers consistent, fixed weight portions for meat and poultry products. Complementing these capabilities, Marlen will spotlight its DuraKut™ sizing solution, designed for slicing, dicing and shredding cooked products. Together, these solutions support flexible processing and deliver high quality results.

Meat separation equipment from POSS is available for both low-volume and high-capacity applications. Solutions on display include the ProMax 300C, ProMax 6000 and ProMax 11CP mechanical separators, along with meat pumps and box-filling systems designed to support efficient recovery while maintaining product quality.

Henneken and Marlen offer a variety of processing systems designed for brining, cooking and finishing protein products. Henneken is showcasing its injection and tumbling technologies, particularly the new HPI 650SC injector for precise, consistent brine distribution in cut-up poultry applications. Marlen’s flame grill and spiral oven demonstrate options for searing, cooking and finishing products with repeatable results and efficient thermal performance. Marlen is also featuring the new Opti 70 twin-piston pump, a compact solution in the Opti Pump series designed for gentle product handling and reliable portion control in space-constrained operations.

Duravant provides a wide range of packaging technology for fresh and frozen protein applications. On display at IPPE is Pattyn’s Autoliner FLEXIM-41 bagmaker inserter, which forms and inserts bags directly from roll stock to deliver clean, consistent and hygienic packaging in demanding production environments.

Digital and data-driven solutions are also being featured at the show. Duravant ONSIGHT® enables real-time monitoring of machine performance to improve visibility and response with actionable insights. Additionally, Foodmate’s new ChickSort 4.0 software solution controls weighing, grading, distribution and cut-up lines to help maintain optimal throughput, product quality, yield and operational efficiency.
