Tri-Mer launches short-term rental program for industrial dust collectors
Tri-Mer Corporation has introduced a short-term rental program for its industrial wet and dry dust collection systems, providing manufacturers with a flexible alternative to capital equipment purchases.
The rental program features skid-mounted dust collectors that can be deployed quickly and are available throughout the continental United States and Canada. According to Tri-Mer, the systems are designed for applications involving volatile dusts and high dust loadings, with a configuration that prevents conflagration at the source.
The rental units use Tri-Mer’s Whirl/Wet dust collection technology and deliver consistent collection efficiencies ranging from 95 to 99 percent. The systems are effective for powdered, flaked, and granulated materials, as well as soluble and insoluble particulate, and can be specified for manual or semi-automatic operation.
Tri-Mer states that the Whirl/Wet design avoids common maintenance challenges associated with traditional dust collectors. The units do not rely on dust bags, spray nozzles, pumps, air compressors, or internal moving parts, reducing wear and the risk of clogging from sticky or agglomerating materials.
Constructed from polypropylene and steel alloys, the systems are energy-efficient and incorporate a clean-in-place, self-cleaning design. Water consumption is limited, with additional water required only to offset evaporation and material drag-out.
The rental systems are intended to support short-term production, pilot-scale testing, research, packaging operations, and pneumatic conveying applications across a range of manufacturing sectors.
