PSB Industries launches remote monitoring service for critical systems

The new Remote Monitoring Service gives PSB customers OEM visibility into operating data while keeping operating authority with on-site personnel.

PSB Industries has launched a Remote Monitoring Service designed to provide continuous visibility into the operating status and alarm activity of its gas and liquid dehydrating and purification systems.

The service combines installed hardware, secure connectivity, and ongoing OEM technical support. Its goal is to help customers identify abnormal operating conditions earlier, reduce unplanned downtime, and improve long-term system reliability.

The offering includes an OptixEdge industrial edge gateway, secure cloud-connected data collection, continuous alarm monitoring, and remote troubleshooting and diagnostics. PSB also provides root-cause analysis for abnormal or recurring events, technical reviews of operating data and gas sample analysis, and semiannual site visits with performance assessments.

According to PSB Industries, continuous monitoring can help its technical team identify event sequences and distinguish underlying causes from operating symptoms. This approach can allow troubleshooting to begin sooner than through a traditional back-and-forth support process.

The Remote Monitoring Service also includes priority access to OEM service, reduced hourly service rates, and an annual support package with pre-purchased service hours.

Customers can use those hours for alarm troubleshooting, process optimization, performance reviews, technical consultation, and operator training.

PSB said the service adds expert technical oversight while keeping operating authority with on-site personnel. The company designed the offering to help customers improve asset reliability, respond more quickly to abnormal conditions, and support ongoing system performance.
