Sanitary tiltable AFC Spiralfeeder

Automated Flexible Conveyor, based in Clifton, New Jersey, has introduced a sanitary tiltable version of its AFC SPIRALFEEDER flexible screw conveyor. The new system is designed for food, dairy, pharmaceutical, and other sanitary processing facilities where space limitations and hygiene requirements are a priority.

Constructed in stainless steel with continuous polished welds and a USDA-compliant coated frame, the conveyor transfers powders, pellets, and bulk materials via an enclosed auger screw. The unit can be lowered at the press of a button, allowing operators to roll it through standard facility doorways for relocation.

The design enables quick cleaning and inspection by providing full access to the hopper, screw, and FDA- and USDA-approved outer tube. A range of spiral screw types is available to handle free-flowing and non-free-flowing materials, with optional accessories including agitators, lump breakers, and dust covers.

Manufactured at the company’s New Jersey facility, the conveyor is available for product testing in Automated Flexible Conveyor’s on-site laboratory prior to installation.
