BPL Food Grade Bio-Penetrating Lubricant

Renewable Lubricants' new BPL Food Grade Bio-Penetrating Lubricant is a specially formulated biobased product that is odorless and tasteless, making it ideal for use as a light lubricant in food processing and packaging machinery and equipment.

BPL features a patented composition of additives and base fluids which provide a protective, thin film lubricant and high dielectric insulating property in electrical equipment. This naturally oily film is proven in lab tests and field usage to outperform petroleum-based oils in terms of natural lubricity. It contains no animal byproducts and is manufactured under kosher supervision.

Formulated to penetrate close tolerant areas, BPL cleans, lubricates, and prevents corrosion. It is ideal for all areas of food processing, as well as “clean” industries such as packaging, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care products, and environmental areas. 

Since it is odorless and tasteless, this versatile product is well suited for use around food processing and packaging equipment such as, to lubricate canning, bottling, and labeling machinery, on gaskets and seals, hinges, air valves, bearings, chains, shafts, bolts, air tools, and more, as well as applications such as light cutting, drilling, and tapping of metals used in and around food manufacturing plants.

BPL meets the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP) guidelines for Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs) and is ideal where low toxicity, biodegradability, and non-bioaccumulation properties are required.  Penetrates in close tolerances and prevents corrosion. Contains no VOCs.
