INDCO offers custom mixer tanks for blending and processing applications
INDCO custom stainless-steel tanks support a broad range of industrial mixing and blending applications. The company manufactures single-wall tanks designed for atmospheric-pressure operation and open-top mixing processes. These vessels can be paired with portable or bridge-mounted mixers and are available in both 304 and 316 stainless steel to provide corrosion resistance across a variety of chemical environments.
According to INDCO, tank geometry plays a critical role in mixing performance and product discharge. The company offers several bottom configurations tailored to different processing requirements.
Cone-bottom tanks are designed to provide complete drainage through a centrally located outlet and are well suited for liquids and soluble solids that blend easily. Elliptical dished-bottom tanks support applications requiring effective suspension of settled materials and increased batch turnover before draining. Sloped-bottom tanks direct liquid flow toward a side-mounted drain valve or spigot positioned near the base of the vessel.
Standard tank features include a formed top lip, pipe legs with mounting flanges and mixer mounting brackets. Optional casters are available to facilitate movement within production facilities.
INDCO also offers multiple surface finish options. Tanks are supplied with a standard mill 2B satin finish, while an optional polished No. 4 finish is available for food processing applications or operations requiring enhanced cleanability.
In addition to custom tanks, INDCO provides a range of mixing containers and engineering support to help customers select tank and mixer combinations suited to their specific processing requirements. The company also offers an online tank data worksheet to assist manufacturers in evaluating tank specifications for new or existing mixing applications.
