Madison Chemical introduces floor and wall cleaner formulated for subfreezing temperatures
(Madison, Indiana; July 29, 2026) — Madison Chemical recently introduced Icy Clean XXI, a ready-to-use floor and wall cleaner formulated specifically for subfreezing temperatures.
This clear water-white liquid with a mild odor has a pH between 6.0 and 8.0. It is used at full strength by wiping on or mopping the surface to be cleaned, followed by wiping or wet vacuuming to remove the Icy Clean XXI and solubilized soil.
This unique product is acceptable for use in food & beverage processing facilities as an A5 floor and wall cleaner for sub-freezing temperature. It is ideal for facilities making or packaging ice cream, frozen confections, slushed mixtures, frozen meals and more. Conditions of use vary considerably due to the extent of and differences in soils and deposits as well as the base materials from which they are removed.
