Fluke launches CalStudio Conduit for calibration workflow automation

Fluke's latest CalStudio release helps laboratories automate approvals, synchronize data and apply business rules without custom software development.

Fluke has released new CalStudio capabilities designed to help calibration laboratories automate workflows, connect data with business systems and improve asset visibility.

The update is led by CalStudio Conduit, a workflow automation and integration platform that connects calibration data with hundreds of business applications. The platform allows laboratories to automate approvals, synchronize data, apply business rules and reduce repetitive manual tasks without custom software development.

CalStudio Conduit is designed to work with the systems organizations already use. For example, when a completed calibration identifies equipment as out of tolerance, the system can automatically trigger an email notification to the customer.

The platform can also update business systems such as SAP or Oracle when equipment returns from calibration. Those updates can include the equipment's next calibration due date, reducing manual data entry and helping keep information current across systems.

The latest CalStudio release also adds Tool Crib, a capability for managing shared tools and test equipment. The feature provides visibility into who has equipment, tracks checkout history and monitors when items are due back.

According to Fluke, Tool Crib was developed in response to customer feedback and is intended to reduce the time and cost associated with misplaced or unavailable equipment.

Additional updates include advanced location asset management for tracking equipment across facilities, buildings, rooms and storage locations. The release also includes usability improvements for calibration procedure authoring.

“Calibration laboratories are entering a new era where digital connectivity, automation and flexibility are essential to improving efficiency and meeting evolving business demands,” said Vineet Thuvara, Chief Product Officer at Fluke.

The new capabilities expand CalStudio's focus on connecting calibration management with broader business workflows while reducing manual effort in laboratory operations.
