IoT thermal camera monitors fire risk and equipment heat
moviTHERM has launched Irley, an IoT thermal camera designed to detect fire risks, equipment failures and other heat-related problems before they cause damage.
The camera connects through Ethernet or LTE, allowing facilities to deploy it using existing network infrastructure or at remote locations without a wired connection. When Irley detects a problem, it can send an alert by phone call, text message or email.
Irley provides remote access to thermal footage and temperature trends. Users can also adjust alert thresholds and other settings without visiting the monitored location.
The system automatically compiles alerts and events into a documented record. According to moviTHERM, this provides risk and safety teams with information they can use when reviewing incidents and working with insurers.
The camera is available for facilities, manufacturers and organizations monitoring high-value or high-risk assets.
Irley is moviTHERM’s first proprietary thermal camera. The company has provided thermal imaging and monitoring solutions since 1999.
