INTERPHEX 2020, originally scheduled for April 28-30 at the Javits Center in New York City, will now take place July 15-17 in New York, according to show organizers.
Show organizers on Wednesday announced that the International Pharmaceutical Expo (INTERPHEX) and the co-located Chemspec USA — which were originally scheduled to take place April 28-30 at the Javits Center in New York City — will now take place July 15-17 at the Javits Center. The shows were postponed and rescheduled due to the COVID-19 virus.
“We know how important INTERPHEX is to our customers’ business and it is our top priority to provide the forum for INTERPHEX and Chemspec USA to allow business to continue,” Randy Field, Group Vice President, Reed Exhibitions, said in a news release issued Wednesday. “The INTERPHEX community is uniquely equipped to support authorities and have a positive impact on addressing the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to postpone INTERPHEX 2020 to July 15-17, 2020. We believe this is the right decision for our customers and the industry in general, which is a vital part of getting the pharmaceutical supply chain back on track post-outbreak.
“We are working with our partners to find solutions to logistical and operational issues that may arise. We are here to help, but ask for your patience as we ensure all of our customers are taken care of. With that in mind, please make sure to change hotels, flights and any other arrangements. Information regarding airline change fee waivers is available on our website.”
