DataPARC and Hitachi Systems launch partnership to unify industrial data environments
DataPARC and Hitachi Systems have announced a strategic partnership that will integrate dataPARC’s industrial data management and analytics software into Hitachi Systems’ digital manufacturing portfolio. The companies said the collaboration is designed to help manufacturers improve data utilization, accelerate digital transformation efforts, and advance smart manufacturing initiatives.
According to Hitachi Systems, its customers are seeking more effective ways to collect and connect data across production environments. By adding dataPARC’s industrial historian and PARCview analytics toolkit, the company will offer a unified platform that consolidates process, quality, maintenance, and business data in a single environment. Hitachi Systems said this approach will support faster, more informed decision making and enhance operational visibility.
Masatsugu Hase, Director and Vice President and Executive Officer at Hitachi Systems, said the partnership combines the company’s digital transformation capabilities with dataPARC’s established analytics tools to help customers build stronger data foundations. He noted that the integration is intended to improve how manufacturers visualize and analyze plant data and support the development of smart factories and more resilient supply chains.
Jason Myers, Business Director at dataPARC, said Hitachi Systems is a trusted technology partner in Japan’s industrial sector and emphasized the role of the combined platform in helping customers increase the value of their process data. He added that the collaboration will provide manufacturers with a flexible, modern architecture for performance improvement and data-driven operations.
