Cashco acquires 3B Controls to expand global tank safety portfolio

Cashco has acquired 3B Controls, a United Kingdom-based manufacturer of storage tank solutions, expanding its global pressure management and tank safety equipment portfolio.

The acquisition adds 3B Controls’ range of pressure and vacuum relief valves, breather valves, emergency relief products, and biogas equipment to Cashco’s existing offerings. It also establishes a manufacturing and service presence in the United Kingdom, strengthening the company’s ability to serve customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

According to Cashco, the combined organization will offer a broader suite of engineered solutions, including flame arrestors, gas blanketing systems, regulators, and control valves. The integration also expands available material options and vent technologies, supporting applications in chemical, petrochemical, and biogas sectors.

Cashco President Clint Rogers said the addition of 3B Controls enhances product coverage, technical expertise, and geographic reach. He noted that shipping products from the United Kingdom facility is expected to improve service levels and reduce lead times for regional customers.

3B Controls serves multinational customers through direct sales and distribution channels, including engineering, procurement, and construction firms. The company also provides inspection, spare parts, and after-sales services.

Phillip Horne, Managing Director of 3B Controls, said the acquisition allows customers to access a wider range of pressure management and tank safety solutions while maintaining existing service and technical support.

May River Capital, Cashco’s parent company, said the acquisition supports its strategy to expand its portfolio of specialized flow control and pressure management businesses serving industrial markets.
